Nature and Achitecture Workshop for Children

For children, ages 8 to 11 — Biomimicry is a term used for taking inspiration and practical ideas from the designs of nature—think of the shape of a building being inspired by the shape of a nautilus shell. The guides on this journey of creativity are a LEED AP Green Designer and an Environmental Educator, who will introduce your child to the amazing world of biomimicry and then guide her/him in designing and building a model to take home. Members-$30, Non-members-$40 per child. (Fee includes materials.) Space limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
