Screening "Following" | Hastings on Hudson Public Library

If you were one of the millions of people who fell victim to the hype surrounding Christopher Nolan's recently released film, "Inception," and can't understand what all the fuss (or the film) was about, please join us on September 12th. We will screen Nolan's first feature, "Following," which is as good as any directorial debut I have ever seen and serves as a prelude to his remarkable later work (Memento, Insomnia, The Dark Knight). Your attention will not flag for one moment from the first shot until the final credits. The film begins by telling the story of a man who is fascinated by the idea of following strangers. Where it goes from there is as difficult to summarize as it is to take your eyes off of. Dessert and discussion to follow.
