Stowe School Chamber Choir on tour from England to perform in Irvington

This select chorus, comprised of British students ages 16-18, will perform a repertoire of sacred and secular music in the sanctuary of the Church of St. Barnabas, originally a Gothic Revival chapel modeled on St Martin's Church in Canterbury in the mid 1800's, now expanded, it features the original granite walls topped by a gabled slate roof and provides a uniquely resonant accoustic environment for vocal performance.  The tour was expanded by special invitation of an Irvington resident who is an alumnus of the school and a parishioner of the church
