The Tribes Hills Annual Winter Solstice Celebration, now in its 8th year, offers the opportunity for its collective of musical artists to unite and present fresh and familiar seasonal world music. Representing traditional, original, contemporary and classic genres–from a variety of cultures and in as many languages–spotlights the diversity of celebration and highlights our commonality, the heart of this season's traditions and festivities. The Tribes Hill Annual Winter Solstice Celebration is part of an age-old commemoration of the passing of darkness and the coming of light.
This potluck and musical gathering is a fundraiser for Tribes Hill and Beczak Environmental Education Center.
