Urban H2O: Tribes Hill Summer Showcase

Two electric roots and rock trios from Westchester’s Tribes Hill music collective.

Singer/songwriter Joe Iadanza hosted a CD release party at UrbanH2O for All in Good Time, his last disc, back in 2010. We’re thrilled to welcome him back with his new trio, James B. Dukehouse.  James B. Dukehouse explores the gritty shadow side of Iadanza’s writing. Instruments are overdriven to create thick tones and a stark interplay of rhythms and harmonic ideas. Drummer Christian Coleman (Little Embers) and bassist Craig Akin (Barnaby Bright, Red Molly) combine to  add Zeppelin and Stones-influenced grooves around Joe Iadanza’s bluesy open tuned riffs and Springsteen-reminiscent vocals.

Carolann Solebello – one of the founding members of Red Molly – plays original and traditional Americana
with Fred Gillen Jr. and Mike Watherly.  “Solebello’s
multi-instrumental chops, her gift for songwriting and versatile vocals run the gamut from country, bluegrass, gospel, and contemporary folk…She is in total
command of her art and exudes a confident, effortless approach throughout.” – Jim Hynes (Elmore Magazine, Sept 20, 2011)  Free beer from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.  Bring your own mug!
