The Village of Hastings Recreation Department has teamed up with Mad Science of Westchester and Manhattan to create three interesting and educational workshops for children in grades K - 4.
The third and final workshop, 'Winter Wonderland', is on Dec. 29 between 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year and we'll use our "Mad" mixtures to create a special snowball that will never melt! Then we'll warm up, but not with hot cocoa. We'll explore and harness the form of energy called heat and use it to create chemical changes in sugar crystals to make our holiday cotton candy treats!"
