Forum To Encourage Citizen Involvement In Local Government
People should become involved in all levels of local decision making.
GREENBURGH, NY — Interested in getting involved in civic activities?
Supervisor Paul Feiner is sponsoring a meeting at the Greenburgh Public Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 to learn how to get appointed to a town policy-making or advisory board.
Feiner said the recent presidential election and post-presidential action encouraged people to get involved.

“I’d like to encourage citizens who like or don’t like what is happening in Washington to also get involved in local activities,” he said. “And to learn what they could/should do if they want to be part of the decision-making process at all levels of government.”
The Greenburgh Public Library is located at 300 Tarrytown Rd. in Elmsford.
