Hastings' Milk Money Closing; Everything Must Go

Lifelong Hastings resident Joy Das will close her popular consignment shop on Saturday; and Hastings residents are swarming the store making sure everything's off the racks by then.

The small, hidden shop on Warburton sells used clothes for kids and adults and maternity clothes—

"Though it's primarily it's for kids," Das said.

Though Milk Money has been filled with customers this week trying to get great deals on what's left, Das said the last few months have been slow.

"I had a few very loyal customers," she said. "But not enough."

The shop has been in Hastings for seven years; Das has owned it for four.

"It was hard to make the decision to close," she said.
