Irvington 1 Of New York's Safest Places To Live For 2017
Niche.com says it crunched the data and came up with the following list, including Irvington.

IRVINGTON, NY — Several upstate New York communities and a bunch of neighborhoods in NYC dominate a new list of safest places to live. Niche.com has drilled down and created what it says are the top 100 safest places to live in the state and nationwide. The list has some of the usual suspects, and a big surprise.
The surprise is that the Hudson Valley is barely represented. But Irvington is on the list.
Niche.com says that it determined the safest places to live by using crimes rates for murder, assault, rape, burglary and other crime statistics from the FBI and U.S. Census. This ranking assesses 9,932 places in the U.S. Statistics are primarily obtained from the FBI Uniform Crime Report and represent the most recent data available.
