Irvington School Board Approves Administrative Appointments

Dr. Raina Kor is promoted.

In a Board of Education meeting Tuesday, Irvington trustees approved the appointment of Main Street School Principal Dr. Raina Kor to Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Human Resources.

In a letter to the Main Street School parents, Kor wrote:

Leaving Main Street is clearly bittersweet for me. For the past six years at Main Street School, and the five years prior, at Irvington Middle School, I have worked to be a strong instructional leader. I have a passion for leading the important work around curriculum, instruction and assessment that is necessary in all school districts. I believe in a K-12 system of learning to support the growth of all children, and therefore feel very fortunate to take this seat in our school district.
