Irvington Students Sell Lemonade to Support Kids with Cancer

The money was raised for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

RIVERTOWNS, NY - Main Street School students in Irvington raised funds to support children with cancer.

The fourth-grade students, who are members of one of the Destination Imagination teams at the school called the Imaginators, raised $620 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, according to information from the Irvington Union Free School District.

Team members built and set up a stand in the cafeteria Feb. 23 and 26 and sold lemonade during lunch.

One team member who was not identified said, “Way to go, lemons and lemonade. Thank you all for helping out.”
