Locals to Graduate From Mercy; Valedictorian a Dobbs Ferry Resident
Mercy College's Commencement ceremonies for both graduate and undergraduate students will be held Wednesday in White Plains.

This year's undergraduate valedictorian, Matthew Jones, is a Dobbs Ferry resident of more than 20 years. He'll graduate with a degree in Accounting. Jones is the first generation in his family to earn a college degree, which he completed while working six days a week.
Mercy College will confer degrees on over 1,300 undergraduate and over 1,500 graduate students at the Westchester County Center tomorrow.

Featured speakers will be:
- Caryl M. Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will deliver undergraduate commencement remarks.
- Dr. Charlotte K. Frank, Senior Vice President, Research and Development for McGraw-Hill Education of The McGraw-Hill Companies will deliver graduate commencement remarks.
The undergraduate ceremony will be in the morning followed by the graduate commencement in the afternoon.
