'March For Our Lives' Will Step Off In Ardsley Saturday
The march will be followed by a rally.

ARDSLEY, NY — While about 200 area students, mostly from Hastings-on-Hudson, heading to Washington, DC, for the March for Our Lives demonstration, to demand effective gun control legislation, there will be a local march in Ardsley Saturday, March 24.
Ardsley High School student Rachel Kaufman said she was marching because safety of students is not a partisan issue.
“Our lives are at stake and we should not have to learn in fear that each day might be our last,” she said. “If lawmakers refuse to make change, we must do everything in our power to protect ourselves and those who could be victims of gun violence in the future.”
