New Local Law To Protect Irvington Landmarks, Historic Sites

A public hearing will discuss giving another board oversight.

IRVINGTON, NY — A new local law in the Village of Irvington will protect landmarks and historic sites. Passed earlier in January, the legislation will protect and enhance sites that cannot be replaced or duplicated.

The village has set a public hearing for 7 p.m. Feb. 5 to discuss empowering the Architectural Review Board to oversee the implementation of the new law, lohud.com said.
