Rivertowns Biz Snippets: Hastings Own Bagel

According to Esperanza Cecilio, who's worked at on Main Street for 6 years, the "Everything" and "Bad Boy" bagels are hands-down, the best sellers.
The "Everything bagel" is pretty standard; you know, it has...everything: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onions and salt. (And that's not even counting the spreads, or schmears—as they should really be called in a bagel shop.)
But the "Bad Boy" is definitely Hastings' Own—

"That one is similar to the everything, but it's an egg bagel with onion and poppy seeds," Cecilio said.
Both sell out quickly.

All bagels at the little corner shop are made fresh daily.
"My favorite is cinnamon raisin," she said.
Let's face it: all other bagels pale in comparison to NY bagels, so given the luxury of our location, we should never take great bagels for granted.
