Rivertowns Patch Applauds Recent College Graduates

Spring is almost over—and that means college commencement ceremonies have taken place.

Bowdoin College:

• Allison Kuriloff of Irvington, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Bowdoin, majoring in Gender and Women's Studies and Sociology.
• Emma Nathaniel of Hastings  graduated cum laude from Bowdoin, majoring in Anthropology.

The following local residents were among the students who received their undergraduate or graduate degrees:

• Erin G. Dawson, a resident of Irvington, NY received a BOM degree in Music , summa cum laude.
• Thomas M. Hammond, a resident of Irvington, NY received a BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Andria A. Arizmendi, a resident of Hastings On Hudson, NY received a BA degree in Communication Studies .

University of Vermont:

• Emily Meltzer, Hastings with a degree in sociology

Skidmore College:

• Lucas Frank of Hastings on Hudson received a BA degree Cum Laude.
• Tessa Leverone of Dobbs Ferry received a BA degree Cum Laude.
• Hayley Speisman of Irvington received a BS degree Summa Cum Laude

Quinnipiac University:

• Meghan M. Dowdle of Dobbs Ferry received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University

Alfred University:

• Coreth Borneman, a resident of Irvington, received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, from the Inamori School of Engineering

SUNY New Paltz:

• Emily Erwin-Mcguire, a resident of Hastings received a BS in Childhood Education 1-6.
• Anthony Tino, a resident of Hastings received a BFA in Printmaking.
• Anna Riolo, a resident of Irvington, receiveved a BA in Psychology.
