Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Irvington School Budgets, Board Votes Today

Board seats and budgets are on the ballot in all three Rivertowns districts, trustee positions are contested in Irvington.

Voters go to the polls today in New York's school districts to vote on school budgets and elect school district trustees.

In the Rivertowns, the only contested race for the local board of education is in Irvington. There are five candidates running for seats currently held by  and . The five candidates are Robyne Camp, John Dawson, Maria KashkinRobyn Kerner and Della Lenz.

The Main Street School is Irvington's school-district polling place.

In Dobbs Ferry, in addition to the candidates and the budget, a proposition on the ballot asks for voter approval to create a multi-purpose room at the high school.

In Hastings, a proposition asking for voter approval to build up the capital reserve is on the ballot along with uncontested school-board candidates and a budget that came in under the state's mandate tax cap.
