Some Change In Garbage Collection In Greenburgh Due To Storm
The supervisor said that streets will be plowed as soon as possible.

From the Town of Greenburgh:
Due to the forecast for a significant snow event occurring Thursday Feb. 9 in the morning hours, the normal Thursday garbage collection is being postponed until Friday, Feb. 10. Please place your cans at the curb Friday morning before 7 a.m., for collection. The regular Friday collection schedule is not being changed.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. The Commissioner of Public Works is making a robo-phone call to households also reminding them of this fact.
If you have any concerns during the storm please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. My cell is 914 438-1343.
During heavy snow storms — please note that we could plow your street at 10 a.m. If snow comes down at an inch or two an hour the road we just plowed will be in bad shape shortly after our trucks were out. We promise to work as fast and as hard as we can to make all streets safe.
