Spoken Interludes to Begin Spring 2016 Book Reading Program in Dobbs Ferry
Three authors will describe their latest work on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry.

The Spoken Interludes program will begin with a buffet dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by three authors reading excerpts from their books and answering questions from the audience. Book signing commences at 8:30 p.m. Books can be purchased at this event and signed by the authors.
The authors are:
David Denby. “The New Yorker” writer and bestselling author. Will read from his new book, “Lit Up: One Reporter. Three Schools. Twenty-four Books That Can Change Lives.”

Frank Bruni. New York Times Op-ed columnist and bestselling author. Will read from his new book, “Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be: An Antidote to the College Admissions Mania.”
Kent Russell. Writer. Will read from his debut book, “I Am Sorry to Think I Have Raised a Timid Son.”

The authors will be introduced by Spoken Interludes founder DeLauné Michel, a resident of Irvington and the author of “Aftermath of Dreaming” and “The Safety of Secrets,” published by HarperCollins.

The full price of the ticket goes to the catering company for the dinner. However, tickets must be paid for in order to attend the readings.
