Waterview Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Center WARN Act Investigation (straussborrelli.com) — Hundreds of workers at Waterview Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rochester may have been laid off without the 60 days' notice required under federal law. 3. CACI Opens Rochester Manufacturing Center for Defense Electronics and Warfare Systems (theconsultingreport.com) — A major defense contractor has just opened a 61,000‑square‑foot manufacturing center in the Greater Rochester area, sharply expanding local production of advanced electronic warfare systems for the U.S. Army. The new facility brings hundreds of percent more manufacturing space, supports dozens of Upstate New York suppliers, and is expected to add engineering and manufacturing jobs tied to cutting‑edge defense technology.
4. Walk with Me: Rochester pastor reflects on faith, family and 100 years of life (rochesterfirst.com) — A Rochester pastor who moved here decades ago is celebrating 100 years of life, reflecting on his journey from the Jim Crow South to a long career at Kodak and ministry in local churches. Surrounded by family and strong faith, he shares how he learned to read, found Christianity, and now enjoys remarkably good health, all highlighted in a new "Walk with Me" episode.
