A class action firm is investigating whether affected employees are owed back pay, benefits, or severance, and is inviting anyone laid off from the Rochester facility this summer to contact them to discuss potential legal options.
   

2. Rochester launches public survey for 2027-28 city budget (13wham.com) — Rochester residents can now help shape the 2027–28 city budget by completing a new online survey and sharing priorities for services like public safety and youth programs. Random encounter led to Rochester man's stabbing death, police say (13wham.com) — Rochester police say a 77-year-old city resident was fatally stabbed inside his North Union Street home after what began as a brief, seemingly friendly encounter while he brought in his garbage cans. A 34-year-old parolee from Dundee is now charged with murder, with investigators crediting surveillance video and a quick arrest in Wayne County with preventing additional victims.
