The new location comes as Tompkins continues to grow its relationships with customers and businesses throughout the region and bring its relationship-focused approach to the West Seneca community and surrounding areas.

As of August 27, 2026, the bank has received necessary regulatory approvals from New York State and is targeting an opening in the first quarter of 2027.
Tony Ando joins Tompkins to lead West Seneca branch
Longtime banking professional Tony Ando will lead the growth opportunities in the West Seneca branch, serving as business development officer. With more than 20 years of regional expertise and extensive experience working with West Seneca businesses and customers, including most recently at M&amp;T, Ando is recognized for his community engagement and relationships that exceed business goals and drive success. Ando joins the Tompkins team and will work to develop new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships throughout Tompkins&rsquo; Western New York footprint, with a strong focus on the Southtowns. He is affiliated and volunteers with the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the West Seneca Central School Academy of Finance.
