With Veterans Day 2019 coming in less than a week, Melinda LaPine, Recreation Director at Creekview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Beahan Road, assembled all veteran personnel for a 2019 group portrait.

Spanning across the generations, covering both the 21st and 20th centuries during peace and war, I wanted to join together many of our bravest Americans who are here right here at Creekview Center in Rochester.” said Ms. LaPine. These are many of our veterans, some couldn't be here due to their advanced age and not being well enough. They are in our hearts."

This is the first time the facility has ever done anything like this and, according to Ms. LaPine, hopefully not the last.
