Residents can meet staff in person, take an online survey through Nov. 9, or join a telephone town hall with the mayor on Oct. 26 to help shape next year's spending plan.
   

• Hilton girls soccer 'kicks out' cancer to raise money for breast cancer awareness (13wham.com) — Hilton girls soccer players just wrapped up their annual "Kick Out Cancer" game, raising more than $7,000 this year for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. The long-running October tradition honors survivors like coach Pam Stadtmiller, who learned of her own diagnosis on the same field, and teaches young athletes to advocate for breast cancer awareness across the Rochester area.
