Rochester Public Market Announces Special Events Cancellations, Changes

The Rochester Public Market remains open with regular hours.

(Wednesday, April 29, 2020) — The City of Rochester’s Public Market announced a number of special events cancellations and changes for the month of May amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The May 3 Community Garage Sale, as well as the Food Truck Rodeo scheduled for May 27, have both been cancelled. Flower City Days at the Market events that would have taken place on May 10, 17, 22, 24, 25, 31 and June 7 are also cancelled.

However, many of the regular horticultural vendors will still be present at the Market on normal shopping days throughout the entire month of May, enabling shoppers to not only stock up on essential food items, but all of their spring gardening necessities as well. Market patrons will continue to have access to dozens of vendors specializing in bedding plants, shrubs, vegetable plants, perennials and annuals and much, much more.
