The Police Accountability Board is aware of the ruling yesterday regarding our disciplinary authority. We are supportive of the City Council in their decision to appeal this decision. Our intent is to continue to do the work for which we have been appointed and within the confines of the law. As members of the Police Accountability Board we are not a direct party in this litigation, and cannot comment on it further.
