2 Men Robbed At Gunpoint While Sitting In Car On Nassau Street
Police say the victims tried to follow their robbers, but lost track of them after a few blocks.
BALDWIN, NY — Two people were robbed at gunpoint in Baldwin early Thursday morning, and Nassau police are seeking the public's help to find the suspects.
According to police, two men were sitting in a BMW parked on Edwards Street at 1:10 a.m. on Thursday. Two other men approached the car, pulled out handguns, and demanded the victims give them all of their things, which they did. The two robbers entered a black Nissan Altima with a third person driving and fled the scene.
The two victims followed the Altima to the intersection of Fenimore Place and School Drive, where the two robbers got out of the car and fled on foot. The driver of the Altima continued heading west on Fenimore Place.

Police described the first suspect as a black man in his mid 20s, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a red hoodie, black pants and a black mask. Police described the second suspect as a black man in his mid 20s, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a red hoodie, dark shorts and a grey mask. There is no description of the driver of the Altima.
