91-Year-Old LI Woman Killed In Apparent Murder-Suicide: Police

LAKEVIEW, NY — Nassau County police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred in Lakeview Friday afternoon.

According to police, a 911 call came in for a disturbance with a gun at 829 Myrna Drive. When officers arrived at 1:40 p.m., they heard two gunshots come from the home.

The officers entered the home and found a 91-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both dead from gunshot wounds. Police say it appeared the man shot the woman before killing himself. Police did not identify the man or woman.
