BALDWIN, NY — After the Town of Hempstead dropped its plans for a one-year development moratorium in Baldwin, Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) announced it is time for the town to start making revitalization a top priority.

"Why are we still waiting for the town to move forward with their part of the plan?" Mulé asks at a Thursday news conference. "I can tell you what it's not about. It's not about the environment."

Mulé said the Town Board approved the project, which included the design review board.
