Cars Stolen From Inside Rockville Centre Dealership: Police

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Dec. 21. All charges are merely accusations.

Burglary

  • On Dec. 18 at 5:31 a.m., an employee at Rockville Centre GMC reported two 2021 GMC Yukons stolen from the interior of the dealership. Surveillance video captured two men damaging the bay door to enter the dealer garage and droving the vehicles through the closed bay doors.
  • On Dec. 18 at 6:39 a.m. the owner of Mercedes Benz of RVC reported a man damaged the dealer garage door, entered the building, and removed a car key. Surveillance shows the man begin to drive a 2013 White Mercedes Benz E300 in the parking lot, and then he parked the vehicle before leaving the area in a black pickup truck.

  • On Dec. 16 at 1:23 p.m., a resident of Hamilton Road reported various jewelry and $400 cash was removed from her bedroom. The jewelry is valued at approximately $11,500.

Leaving Scene of Auto Accident

  • On Dec. 14 at 10:42 p.m., a resident of Concord Street reported that his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked on the corner of Concord and Sunrise Highway.
  • On Dec. 16 at 7:19 p.m., a Valley Stream resident reported his vehicle was struck by a Honda Accord that left the scene of accident at Peninsula Boulevard and Lake Drive.

  • On Dec. 18 at 12:14 p.m., Peter J. Dalessio, 68, of Raymond Street, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt during a domestic disturbance at his home.
  • On Dec. 18 at 11:47 p.m., Christopher Montgomery, 41, of Jefferson Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree menacing during a domestic incident at his home.
  • On Dec. 20 at 9:41 p.m., James M. Howard, 35, of Reid Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
