Charges Dropped Against Long Island Police Officer
He was arrested after he had allegedly filmed a sexual encounter with a woman without her knowledge.

Charges were dropped on Wednesday against a former Rockville Centre police officer who had been accused of filming a sexual encounter with a woman without her knowledge.
Christopher Stafford, 28, of East Meadow, was arrested in February and charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance.
According to Newsday, the District Attorney's office dropped the charges, saying there was a lack of evidence that the video was taken without the woman's consent. Stafford's attorney, William Petrillo, said the case was brought up because of a bad breakup.

Stafford was put on leave after his arrest. But because he was arrested during his probationary period, News 12 reported, the village decided to fire Stafford.
The charges against Stafford came just a week after another Rockville Centre police officer made headlines. On Feb. 6, officer Anthony Federico was acquitted of the police brutality charges that were leveled against him last year.
