Court Date Set For 3 Charged With Stealing Catalytic Converters: Cops

A suspect was released on probation with an electronic monitoring device, police say.

ROOSEVELT, NY — There's an update on the three men charged in connection to stolen catalytic converters this week in Roosevelt.

Jesus Rodriguez, 23, was released on probation with an electronic monitoring device, police said.

All three men were given a return date of Nov. 3 at First District Court.

Rodriguez, Jose Reyes, 24, and Hector Otero, 22, all from the Bronx, were found with stolen catalytic converters and tools used to remove the vehicle device, authorities said.

They were spotted by officers after crashing into two parked cars early Wednesday.
