Curran Hosts 2nd Annual Spring Luncheon at Sandel Center
Assemblyman talked with members about state issues affecting seniors.

In April, New York State Assemblyman Brian Curran held his second annual Spring Luncheon for seniors at the Rockville Centre .
The event, which was attended by more than 150 local seniors, provided an opportunity for Curran to discuss important state issues affecting seniors. Following the program, the seniors were treated to an Italian lunch consisting of pasta, pizza and dessert.
Also in attendance were Rockville Centre Mayor Francis Murray, Deputy Mayor Nancy Howard and Trustee Ed Oppenheimer.

“The Spring Luncheon at Sandel is one of our most important events of the year," Curran said. "It provides me with the opportunity to directly speak with seniors of Rockville Centre and make them aware of legislation that is being debated in Albany which will directly affect them. I cannot thank Mayor Murray, Dr. Syd and her staff for allowing us to hold the event each year."
