Cyclones Blowout Division, 13-3
Bryan Gerrato and Pat Finnerty combine for seven goals and three assists.
Coming off a , the Division Blue Dragons (1-3 in Conference II, 4-6 overall) hoped to bounce back with a win against the South Side Cyclones (4-0 in Conference II, 7-3 overall) on Friday.
South Side's Bryan Gerrato made sure that wouldn't happen, starting the game with a hat trick and leading the Cyclones to a 13-3 win over Division.
Gerrato ended up with four goals and an assist, forming an unstoppable duo with Pat Finnerty, who scored three of his own with two assists. The Cyclones put four on the board in the first period, while the Blue Dragons scored only once.

Division appeared to gather momentum in the second period, scoring two goals to South Side's three, however, the three goals in the first half would be their last.
Division goalie Tom McDevitt finished with nine saves against the sharp-shooting Cyclones, but it wasn't enough as seven Cyclones scored. In addition to the damage done by Gerrato and Finnerty, Eric Gennari scored twice and Zach Scaduto, Peter Clarke, Billy Moore and Stephen Tita each added one, resulting in the 13-3 victory.

"We've been preaching about the level of intensity and focus, and we just didn't have that in the last three or four games," said Cyclones head coach Steve DiPietro. "In this game we really responded to that; we had that intensity from the get go, and I'm proud of the way we played from the first whistle."
