The South Side boys soccer team won again on Saturday night, defeating Lawrence 2-1 in a non-league matchup for its third consecutive win.

Thomas Germano finished with four saves, and since it was a non-league game, head coach Fred Paul said it allowed him to play his bench. "The rest of our players stepped up and played very well," he said. "They played under control and controlled the majority of the game."

South Side plays next against Jericho at Robbins Lane Community Park on Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
