The South Side Cyclones won again on Thursday, scoring the game-winning goal with less than five minutes left in the first half to beat New Hyde Park, 1-0.
Senior Chris Harkins headed it home off an indirect kick from Alessandro Pugliese from the left corner with under five minutes to play in the first half to give South Side a 1-0 edge.
Thomas Germano had three saves in the win, including one huge save with a few minutes left off a deflection.

Head Coach Fred Paul said the team still has room for improvement.
"Overall we played much better team defense," he said. "We haven't reached our potential yet but its getting better."
