Our staff of 60 to 110 employees (seasonally) wants to make your cycling and home fitness experiences as convenient and enjoyable as possible. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. HEMPSTEAD, NY — A 22-year-old Hempstead Village man was pronounced dead nine days after crashing his Kawasaki motorcycle in Hempstead, police said Monday. Nassau County police said the man was <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/rockvillecentre/motorcyclist-left-critical-condition-after-crash-pd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in critical condition last week</a> after the crash, in which the motorcyclist was riding westbound on Front Street and collided with a Toyota Corolla that was turning left onto the street from Courtenay Road. Police have not announced any arrests or charges stemming from the crash, but said that the Corolla driver remained at the scene after the crash. As for the Hempstead Village resident who was driving the motorcycle, he was hospitalized immediately thereafter and listed in critical condition. Monday morning, police said he had succumbed to his injuries.
