GLEN COVE, NY — With eight weeks until voters decide who will each party for governor, Democratic congressman Tom Suozzi is trying to unseat the incumbent.

Suozzi, a guest on Thursday's "Patch AM" said, "I've got a very clear message that I think is resonating with people. I'm a proven executive. I'm a common-sense Democrat."

Gov. Kathy Hochul, who replaced Andrew Cuomo in 2021 amid sexual harassment scandals, seeking her first full term in office.
