KKK Fliers Found in Rockville Centre, Wantagh

Packets of fliers for Ku Klux Klan discovered in several Long Island towns.

Several fliers recruiting members to the Ku Klux Klan were discovered in Rockville Centre and Wantagh neighborhoods, confirmed Nassau County and Rockville Centre Police.

Plastic packages of fliers advertising the KKK were found lying on the street in Wantagh and Rockville Centre in Nassau County. In Suffolk, residents in Shirley, Babylon, and Hampton Bays reported similar finds, according to News 12.

In Rockville Centre, several fliers were found inside a plastic bag on Hempstead Avenue near Lakeview Avenue, cops said.

The fliers found in Wantagh ask for support for Missouri police “for taking out two n***** thugs who are in hell were [sic] they belong” and refer to the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, according to a photo posted by News 12.

The incident is still being investigated but no criminality has been confirmed as of Wednesday, said police.

Nassau Police confirmed the same type of packages of fliers were found on Stratford Road in Wantagh.

Officers said they are still investigating and are regarding it as an unusual incident with no criminality.
