ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following arrests for the week ending March 9. All charges are merely accusations.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

  • On March 3 at 3:36 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a lot on Sunrise Highway.

  • On March 3 at 11:50 a.m., a Meehan Lane resident reported someone entered her apartment over the weekend and stole cash.

Arrests

  • On March 4 at 11:28 p.m., Jimul Vincent, 25, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and petty larceny after police say he used a fraudulent gift card to pay for a meal at a restaurant on N. Village Avenue.
  • On March 6 at 4:11 p.m., Jessica Aviles, 40, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police say she was seen driver a vehicle on Sunrise Highway.
  • On March 8 at 3:44 a.m., Richard Mosall Jr., 23, of Green Island, New York, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault during a fight on N. Park Avenue, police said.
