Man Assaulted By Friend In Restaurant: Rockville Centre Police

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending July 27.
Assault
- On July 20 at 11:42 a.m., a Hewlett resident reported that he was hit with a bottle by his roommate while at a S. Park Avenue restaurant on July 18.

- On July 21 at 11:16 a.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while driving on Peninsula Boulevard.
Larceny
- On July 20 at 12:14 p.m., an Intervale resident reported that her wallet, containing her driver’s license and credit cards, was stolen while inside a Merrick Road business.
- On July 21 at 7:10 p.m., a Hempstead Avenue resident reported that her bicycle was stolen from her residence.
Burglary

- On July 20 at 3:30 p.m., a Raymond Street resident reported that someone entered her home and stole property sometime between July 12 and July 20.
Unusual Incident
- On July 22 at 10:05 a.m., a N. Village Avenue resident reported that she was the victim of a phone scam in which she provided someone with the redemption codes for Apple gift cards she purchased.
- On July 22 at 3:08 p.m., a N. Village Avenue resident reported that someone opened a credit card account in his name without permission.
