Man Was Driving Drunk With 3 Children In Car: Nassau Police
Police say he was pulled over after officers saw him driving erratically in the early morning hours.

Nassau Police say a Uniondale man was arrested early Sunday morning after officers pulled him over and found he was driving drunk with three children in his car.
According to police, officers saw a gray 2016 Nissan Altima with a temporary Texas registration heading north on Long Beach Road in Oceanside at 2:20 a.m. on Feb. 9 make an unsafe lane change.
The officers pulled the car over on Long Beach Road and West Waukena Avenue and questioned the driver, Miguel A. Medina, 38, of Liberty Street, Uniondale. There were four passengers in the car: a 69-year-old woman in the front seat, and an 11-year-old boy, a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl in the back seat.

Medina was placed under arrest at the scene. The children were released to a family member and the car was impounded.
Medina is charged with three counts of DWI (Leandra's Law), two counts of DWI, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, aggravated unlicensed operation and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
