Motorcyclist Killed Colliding With Another Vehicle

The other driver in the South Hempstead crash was not hurt.

SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist.

A Honda motorcycle collided with 2019 Acura sedan heading west on Village Avenue at Grand Avenue in South Hempstead Thursday evening, Nassau police said.

The 28-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The 28-year-old female Acura driver was not injured, detectives said.

Police had no other details of the incident, including the driver's names.

An investigation is being conducted, according to police.
