Nassau Woman Killed In Crash On Southern State

The woman was driving early in the morning when she lost control of her car and hit a tree, state police said.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — An early morning crash on the Southern State Parkway left a Nassau woman dead, state police said.

According to New York State Police, Taeri Kim, 31, of East Meadow, was driving on the Southern State at 2:01 a.m. near exit 19S when she lost control of her car. She truck a tree on the right shoulder of the road and her car overturned.

Kim was taken to Nassau University Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.
