Rockville Centre Crime Report: Woman Strikes Man with Beer Bottle, DWI Arrests

RVCPD report on crimes in the past week.

The following information was supplied by Rockville Centre Police. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Oct. 16: David Wendt, 51, of Baltimore, charged with DWI and traffic violations at North Village Avenue and Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
  • Oct. 19: Tyler McClean, 23, of Long Beach, charged with DWI at Merrick Road and Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre.
  • Oct. 19: Phillip Cascio, 26, of Oceanside, charged with DWI on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

  • Oct. 17: An Oceanside man said he was punched in the face and sustained a laceration to the nose on Lakeview Avenue in Rockville Centre.
  • Oct. 18: A Rockville Centre man said a woman hit him in the face and caused a laceration with a beer bottle while at R.J. Daniels.

Criminal Mischief

  • Oct. 13: A Vernon Avenue resident said the side door of a house had been damaged.

  • Oct. 15: A Baldwin woman said the driver side rear of her 2013 Jeep was damaged while parked overnight on Buckingham Road.
  • Oct. 17: A Muirfield Road man said the rear window of his 2007 BMW was damaged while parked at Municipal Lot #3.
