Rockville Centre Man Charged With Assault: Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Nov. 18. All charges are merely accusations.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

  • On Nov. 11 at 4:24 p.m., a driver reported his vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while he was driving on Peninsula Boulevard.
  • On Nov. 14 at 9:33 a.m., a driver reported her vehicle was struck by a truck that left the scene while she was driving on Peninsula Boulevard.

Larceny

  • On Nov. 14 at 6:20 a.m., a commuter reported his bicycle was stolen from the rack at the LIRR station overnight.

Arrests

  • On Nov. 12 at 7:58 a.m., Olivia R. Doolittle, 21, of Bulson Road, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with petty larceny after police say she was seen shoplifting at a pharmacy on N. Village Avenue.
  • On Nov. 12 at 2:12 p.m., Rickey Hanson, 62, of Clinton Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct during a disturbance on Front Street.
  • On Nov. 13 at 1:08 p.m., Nathaniel Grant, 46, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic offenses after police say he was observed driving on Sunrise Highway.
  • On Nov. 14 at 3:05 p.m., Jerry Chan, 24, of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault for a disturbance that occurred on Nov. 13.
  • On Nov. 14 at 8:43 p.m., Thomas Napolitano, 25, of Woodmere, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after police say he was involved in an auto accident on Peninsula Boulevard.
