Rockville Centre Woman Injured In Hit-And-Run: Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Dec. 30.
Larceny
- On Dec. 24 at 3:58 p.m., a resident of S. Centre Avenue reported her purse was stolen from her walker while she was walking in the parking lot of 85 S. Centre Ave. She had her wallet, two credit cards, $20 and a cell phone in her purse.

- On Dec. 27 at 10 p.m., a resident of Meehan Lane reported she was struck by a sport utility vehicle that left the scene at the corner of N.Centre Avenue and Meehan Lane. The victim was transported to South Nassau Hospital for substantial pain to her neck, back and right hip.
- On Dec. 27 at 7:17 a.m., a NICE bus driver reported that while she was driving a bus on Merrick Road, a gray sedan collided with the bus and left the scene.
- On Dec. 29 at 8 a.m., a resident of Maine Ave reported her 2014 Nissan was struck while it was parked on Maine Avenue by a vehicle that left the scene.
Arrests
- On Dec. 26 at 10:34 a.m., Luis A. Loja-Quito, 57, of Corona, New York, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a suspended motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and operating unregistered motor vehicle following a license plate reader hit and investigation on Sunrise Highway.
- On Dec. 29 at 4:18 p.m., Justin T Fulton, 29, of Elmont, was arrested on an active Nassau County bench warrant during an accident investigation on Peninsula Boulevard.
