Thieves Rob Three Different Nassau Stores in One Day
BREAKING: One would distract the employees while the other would sneak in back and steal from them.

A pair of thieves distracted and robbed employees at three different Rockville Centre stores on Dec. 7, police say.
According to detectives, a man and a woman entered the Lucky Finds Boutique, located at 7A North Park Ave., at 3 p.m., distracted the employee and removed their wallet, which was in a restricted area of the store.
At 4:15 p.m., the same people entered Illuminations Boutique, located at 251 Sunrise Highway, and distracted the employee. The woman was seen exiting an employee only area where the victim’s wallet containing her was taken from.

At 4:45 p.m., the same two entered Stellar Jay Boutique, located at 232 Merrick Road, and asked to use the bathroom, one at a time, as the other distracted the employee. The two were seen on video stealing from the victim’s wallet in the back room of the store. They fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspects are described as a black man wearing a baseball cap, blue jacket and dark pants, and a black woman wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded jacket and black pants.
