5. ICE agents detain two people in Cornhill district (cnyhomepage.com) — A Rome resident driving through Utica’s Cornhill district watched as several unmarked vehicles, later identified as ICE agents, stopped a contractor van on Mohawk Street and detained a man and woman. He described multiple agents, a casual demeanor, and neighbors filming as the pair were handcuffed and taken away in separate vehicles. Authorities have not yet released the detainees’ names or ages.
