Long Island Meet Your Next Big Voice: Matt Martin Makes a Run for Top Host

NOW IN TOP 10! Next elimination to TOP 5 11/6/26

Through this competition, I have had the opportunity to re-engage and finally carve my path back in pop culture. After nearly 12 years off the air and away from audiences’ weekly entertainment routines, I’m thrilled to have a real opportunity to return. This experience has been deeply meaningful: it has illuminated my greatest strengths, while the views, encouragement, and mentions from longtime and new followers have reaffirmed that this is what I was born to do.

If I win, I will draw on the skills and experience I have developed throughout my career to help shape the future of pop culture and entertainment—championing stories that inspire progress and create a positive impact. Everyday people are everyday heroes. Proof? Top Host and my next move will show how. Let us learn how to aspire and inspire at the same time.

I was born and raised in Sayville, and as a lifelong Long Islander—who also happens to share a name with former New York Islanders forward—I want to invite our community to be part of this unique opportunity. My goal is to rally Long Island behind an authentic voice shaped by real-life experience, original ideas, and a record of meaningful impacts in a culture that can often feel manufactured and carefully curated. Politician I am not, but maybe they could take a page from my book.
